The Caribbean resort hotel is located in the popular but quaint village of Puerto Viejo on Costa Rica´s Caribbean coast. Located at Playa Negra (Black Beach), where, just beyond the Caribbean resort, you will find miles of stunning and deserted shoreline. In fact, La Perla Negra is the most peaceful, quiet and secure place outside of Puerto Viejo. However you will always be just a short walk to town, where you can enjoy great restaurants, shop for locally made souvenirs and crafts, or dance the night away in one of the town’s lively discotheques.
The hotel has 24 rooms, which have either a private patio or balcony and a view of either the jungle or the ocean. All rooms have private bathrooms, hot water showers, double beds, and ceiling fans. Some rooms have a loft with additional sleeping capacity. Because your room is only about 50 meters from the beach, you are assured of enjoying the refreshing breezes and an almost mosquito free environment. The hotel has a very nice pool in the centre of the property and a bar for guests. The hotel is Gay Friendly.
